In order to embellish the apartment, a refined decor was picked to echo the tanneries from the past that surrounded this former craftsman’s home.
A Japanese armchair with leather seat and smoked oak frame interacts with the resin floor made from natural castor oil.
In the same spirit, a Japanese bench in blackened wood stands beneath one of the living room windows.
The speckled wool sofa has an integrated tray. Perfect for putting down your cup of tea while enjoying a sweet reading moment!
A philodendron in a terracotta pot echoes the noble materials around it.
The kitchen was split into three connected zones, and subfloor heating was installed to make the most of this S-shaped room.
Detail of the kitchen units, with walnut edging on the rims. Chic!
A counter has also been installed to allow owners to work while admiring the courtyard garden.
Fenix, a grey material, is used for the countertop and bespoke furniture to create continuity between each room.
Just like in an art gallery, each carefully selected object is meant to be contemplated.
You have to walk through the living room to get to the bedroom. An opportunity to admire once again the Karimoku Case Study N-LC02 chair.
With its solid walnut bed and matching side table, the room is an invitation to meditate.
The bathroom was custom-made, with the addition of false walls and a false floor.
Water outlets have been ingeniously integrated to shape the shower and sink base.
The stainless steel shower blends in perfectly with the decor, highlighting the resin color of the walls and floor.
Thanks to the window facing the shower, the room is bathed in soft light.
