L'Œil de Sloft offers you a narrow and necessarily subjective selection of information circulating in the world of architecture, design, art and decoration, with a particular inclination for innovative initiatives. On the menu for this fortnight:
- A place at the heart of artistic news : POUSH
- For an offbeat decor rich in meaning: the Fragment collection by Thomas Delagarde
- The upcoming spicy trend: Picklecore
A place at the heart of artistic news : POUSH
Greater Paris continues to inspire us! Installed since 2022 on the historic and remarkable site of the LT Piver perfumery in Aubervilliers, thus part of a solidarity transition urban planning program, POUSH is an artist incubator, a place for exhibitions and debates. On 22000 m²it welcomes 260 established and emerging creators, of all nationalities, multiplying collaborations, desires and projects among themselves. It also offers a production support program and administrative and communication support. The place will be particularly buzzing this fall, with an art & object focus for Paris Design Week, heritage visits as part of the European Heritage Days or even an olfactory tour, linked to the history of the building. A truly creative district, worth visiting without delay!

For an offbeat decor rich in meaning: the Fragment collection by Thomas Delagarde

The upcoming spicy trend: Picklecore
Focus on the latest craze of Generation Z: the Pickle (or Gherkin)! On TikTok, the hashtags #pickle and #pickles currently have 9.6 billion views. An impressive number which continues to increase and a virality which also affects Etsy, the famous online sales site for artisanal creations. Result: there is an overall increase of 41% in searches on the topic of pickles. The illustrations of pickles increased by +74%! Associated with the Barbiecore pink wave which has been sweeping into our interiors since this summer, this new positive trend definitely promises an autumn with colorful decorations!
