The key materials are revealed from the outset: oiled oak parquet, integrated white stratified furniture, structural elements left unfinished.
Thus, the space offers a discreet, enhancing backdrop to 50’s furniture. We’re obviously crazy about the Eames Lounge Chair!
The kitchen nestles behind the thick load-bearing wall. The discreet appearance of a stained original beam reinforces the natural, uncluttered feel of the project.
At the end of the stainless steel countertop, it’s time for light! Large openings on the courtyard were created after removing the spandrels.
Isn’t this intimate, finely furnished dining room the height of elegance?
A series of vertical blocks lead from the entrance to the sanitary facilities, a cupboard for the boiler…
… and a bedroom dressing! The sun rays and circulation flow naturally between them.
Although the partitioning is deliberately minimal, it’s still possible to achieve privacy in the evening.
The full-height storage units are numerous without being too present: they blend into the space thanks to the work done on color.
These discreet, pure nuances also encourage us to find rest. During the day, they have the advantage of efficiently capturing light!
The bathroom, also nestled behind a thick load-bearing wall, has something of the feel of an intimate spa.
Modernist accents in the design: simple lines, furniture and the use small 5×5 tiles.
