The living area at the far end of the apartment has been enlarged as much as possible. It can be used as an office, a bedroom and a living room… just wait and see!
To the left of the black-framed window, a storage module incorporates a bookcase of black shelves, echoing the apartment’s original structure.
Here’s a view from the back of the room, with the module on the left. It consists of a platform and wall-mounted storage units that organize the space…
It’s a birch platform that acts as a base for the mattress!
When guests are coming over, the mattress slides under the platform to create a friendly and adjustable Japanese-style reception area.
Let’s head for the kitchen and bathroom!
This small corridor connects the rooms, as well as the two modules of the living area. One of the walls hides the wardrobe.
To the right of the corridor: the kitchen. Tucked away in a black-painted alcove, it is ultra-minimalist and very modern.
The detail of this kitchen is its backsplash…or rather, the sliding glass panel that acts as the backsplash! It allows you to change the layout from a traditional kitchen to one that communicates with the living room when its is turned into a reception area!
The platform of the living room extends into the second room, thus distributing the kitchen, and the bathroom, directly opposite.
It is completely black, just like the kitchen, and the walls and floor are covered with square tiles. Red was picked for the grouting to emphasize the ultra-modern feel while adding a futuristic touch. A bathroom idea for @louboutinworld?
