The entrance is through a small, minimally designed double-door entrance. The baseboards and door surrounds have been painted black to accentuate the contemporary effect.
On the right, a mirror-covered door leads to the laundry room and bathroom. In its reflection, we can observe an alignment of cupboards to optimize space!
The entrance was once much larger. Installing a partition there created a whole new room.
It serves as a laundry room and dressing room, and leads to the bathroom.
Thanks to the generous surface area, a large shower was installed. The contemporary gray and black decor is warmed up by a few touches of wood.
Here we are in the spacious and bright living room. The furniture harmoniously combines vintage and contemporary pieces. We love the gray-painted ceiling and moldings, which make the space so warm and inviting.
View from the living room. The kitchen, formerly located in the bedroom, has been moved into the living room to bring more conviviality to the apartment.
The kitchen pedestals have been covered with black and stainless steel doors, a combination that lends a very New York style to the whole.
The partition between the living room and bedroom was pierced and replaced by a glass roof with black frames to accentuate the urban atmosphere while letting the light flow through.
To preserve movement in this space, a custom-designed bridge headboard houses the storage units. Note the ceiling, also painted grey, to maintain unity!
From the bedroom, the work area, in a very “office building” atmosphere. For better concentration!
