The entrance leads directly into the living room. The high ceilings and exposed beams add majesty and charm to this refurbished apartment. Light-colored parquet flooring adds warmth to the white walls.
Zoom in on the living room window. Here, the cast-iron radiator has been preserved. Like a piece of art, it sits enthroned on its wooden base.
Overall view of the kitchen. Here, we play with volume! The mezzanine breaks the apartment’s high ceilings. Its lines, combined with the original beams, effectively structure the space both horizontally and vertically.
The kitchen is minimal and functional. The upper modules have not been connected to the mezzanine to create a gap. The antique dining table adds a warm touch to the overall composition.
The bedroom opens directly onto the living room. Bright and uncluttered, it invites you to relax.
Let’s head for the bathroom, at the end of the small corridor on the left.
On the floor, real Terrazzo has been laid. After all, this is Rome. Wood combined with the colorful hints of the stone fragments brighten up this pure space.
Now let’s go upstairs via a custom-made wooden staircase. Fitted with a built-in cupboard, it is even more useful!
The top of the mezzanine. With its exposed beams, it looks like a treehouse!
We too would love to spend some quiet time up there with a good book!
Or just to admire the breathtaking view of the framework!
