The apartment is located in Paris, in a passageway dating from the late 19th century.
The corridor, which follows the shape of the staircase, leads to the different rooms: on the left, the dressing room, in the middle, the kitchen and on the right, the bathroom. Formerly narrow and closed, it is now more open and luminous.
The uncluttered bathroom is no less functional, with a large cupboard concealing the laundry and hot water tank.
The triangular shape is also present. In general, all the doors to the apartment’s rooms open onto triangles to optimize space.
The red Smithfield suspension by Flos lends character to the kitchen, creating a contrasting effect with the wood and cream tones.
The kitchen, previously located in place of the large walk-in wardrobe, has been relocated to adjoin the living area. If required, the partition separating the two spaces can be closed.
The decor celebrates the 1970s through carefully chosen pieces of furniture, such as this orange mushroom lamp.
Behind the sofa, an openwork shelf cleverly brings light into the dressing area, creating an original and striking visual effect.
The hallway, which also serves the bedroom and large dressing room, ends in a triangle to give a new reading of the space.
The room that previously housed the kitchen has been converted into a large dressing room.
With its high ceilings, the room makes the most of its Haussmann character. It overlooks the quiet passageway, a luxury in Paris!
Above the doors, triangular volumes are used as storage spaces. The chrome Foglio lamp from Flos adds a seventies touch, echoing the kitchen and living room decor.
