Atelier Fauves oversaw the full renovation of this 39-square-meter Parisian apartment. With new flooring, new windows, paintwork, plumbing, and electrical systems, the apartment has been given a new lease on life!
The apartment’s entryway opens up like a pastel-colored cocoon, painted in Ressource’s Citadelle R644 green. Soft light from a Seam porcelain pendant lamp by Serax highlights its contours. This entryway provides access to all the other rooms in the home.
In the bathroom, the warm colors from the entryway gives way to a soft Grège RMDV04 shade, bathed in natural light. The painted vanity is completed with a Marazzi tiled top, extending the mineral atmosphere of the space. A Flos Mini Glo-Ball wall lamp completes the ensemble, diffusing a delicate light.
Marazzi tiles also cover the walls of the shower, nestled in a recess of the room.
Back in the entrance hall, where colorful artworks and coat hooks interact harmoniously with the painted walls and herringbone parquet, extending the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this space.
The direction of the herringbone pattern leads us into the kitchen, a room with high ceilings, enhanced by the generous amount of light streaming in through the tall window. Spotlights by Zangra and P376 aluminum suspension by &Tradition.
Atelier Fauves has created a made-to-measure bench seat for the kitchen, which harmonizes perfectly with a traditional bistro table. The white, openwork bench features a blue seat cushion.
The kitchen features wooden base cabinets, made up of Ikea modules enhanced with Plum Living doors in a Honey Oak shade, topped with a white Silestone countertop. The upper cabinets are painted white to visually lighten the space. They blend perfectly with the color of the HEJU02 waxed concrete walls from Ressource.
The range hood and refrigerator are concealed behind Plum doors. The bespoke countertop fits the unique angle shape of the kitchen. The black-tinted Iris light switches are from Modelec.
Ressource’s Jasmine SL04 shade, applied to the bedroom walls, highlights the room’s moldings as well as some colorful details, like &Tradition’s Flowerpot VP10 pendant lights in vermilion red.
Opposite the bed, custom-made storage spaces have been created: an open bookcase and an armoire, concealed behind large white doors.
It’s time to explore the living room, which reflects the same design principles as the rest of the apartment: bespoke storage, softly colored walls and generous light.
The brick fireplace, the central feature of the living room, has been carefully restored. To maintain the Haussmannian spirit, moldings have been added to the base. Contemporary furniture and modern works of art harmonize with these historic accents.
One wall of the living room is completely covered with cupboards. In the center, several wooden shelves create an office space. The sofa is enhanced by a Signal wall lamp by Jieldé in matte black finish.
Atelier Fauves plays with the cut-out wooden shelves to give this desk a very special cachet.
