The door and its frame reveal a certain historic charm, typical of Madrid’s constructions of the early 20th century.
In total contrast, we enter a sleek and colorful space made of taut lines.
The kitchen island is positioned at a 45° angle, making it easy to move around.
Just like a 3D transposition of Mondrian’s work, the elements in pure and vivid colors mark out storage spaces.
The living room is the ultimate reveal of the Rietveld Schröder House’s: a neutral, luminous container…
… structured by color and modular thanks to sliding partitions.
To amplify the feeling of space and constantly offer new visuals, these mobile panels are covered with large mirrors.
The result is a flexible space that can be used as an office or a guest room.
The bathroom sustains the spirit of minimalist parallel and and perpendicular lines, leaving it with a highly graphic look.
This full length mirror can rotate to best catch the light source.
Surprise, it also allows access to the bedroom!
In line with the project, the cupboard is the key visual element in a simple, uncluttered room.
