Mirror, mirror: 23 m² in Paris

The challenge: reorganizing a studio to create a real separation between night and day 23 m² 64 000 € Retro-contemporary Studio Studio Muraczewski

A stone's throw from the Moulin Rouge, a neglected old studio has been restored to its former glory. Perched on the top floor, it now enjoys more light and a more coherent layout thanks to a new open-plan design guided by an interplay of mirrors.
From the entryway, the light-filled living room comes into view, with its clean lines and elegant simplicity.

The linear kitchen is an extension of the entrance hall. Its warm design provides all the essentials without disrupting the fluidity of the overall project.

On the floor, the herringbone parquet flooring contrasts with the darker facades.

A dining area fits neatly at the end of the kitchen unit. The zellige backsplash continues behind the bench seat, contrasting with the warmth of the wood.

The ambiance is highlighted by bright white furniture and two off-center sconces.

In a 23-square-meter studio apartment, having a separation between the bedroom and living area is a rare luxury. Here, it is the wardrobe that makes this possible. Covered in mirrors, it becomes a light, almost immaterial space that structures the layout without weighing it down.

Accented with discreet metal handles, the module provides multiple perspectives.

The bedroom takes shape in the background, decorated in the same soft color palette.

The painted headboard is punctuated by alcoves. The bedside niche houses a cantilevered wooden drawer, fitted with the same metal handles found throughout the rest of the project.

Adjustable sconces provide light to enjoy the books stored in the bookcase above the bed.

The frame of the pocket door hints at the adjoining bathroom.

Decorated with zellige tiles and dark wood, the room is in keeping with the calm tones of this Parisian retreat.
