Before renovation, Tommy and Sébastien's apartment was partitioned and had an F energy rating. studioZERO set about opening it up and optimizing its energy efficiency. Thanks to high-performance heating, ventilation and joinery equipment, the apartment is now rated D, without compromising on living space.

The bathroom, located across from the bedroom, opens onto the entryway via a sliding door. This arrangement preserves the privacy of the sleeping area and creates a natural, fluid flow to the living room. The white microcement floor continues into the shower, unifying and visually enlarging the space.
In the bathroom, niches cut into the wall provide built-in storage that appears light and airy. The palette of greens creates a soothing ambience, contrasting with the pure white of the microcement.
The former partitioned living area is now organized into 19 square meters of multifunctional space. The restored fireplace and parquet flooring interact with the oak kitchen and dining room.
The bespoke L-shaped kitchen, created by Raenov and designed by studioZERO, runs along the longest wall to maximize storage space. Kroos brushed rose gold kitchen equipment.
In the kitchen, a niche and countertop in SoftSurface™ by Le Pavé are crafted from recycled yogurt containers and refrigerator doors. The natural light that filters in highlights the unique character of this material and underscores the project’s ecological and poetic commitment.
Tommy and Sébastien take their places at the dining room table.
In the living room, white microcement and dark oak meet to create two distinct ambiences. The hand-restored moldings preserve the apartment’s authentic Parisian charm.
The living room is organized around a storage unit that subtly separates the living room from the dining room and kitchen, while offering plenty of open shelving.
Under the living room window, studioZERO transforms an old pantry into a liquor cabinet with a retractable shelf.
The apartment, with its single orientation, feels brighter thanks to its linear layout: the windows, all located near the doors, allow light to flow freely.
In the bedroom, the renovated parquet flooring creates a warm ambience, contrasting with the brightness of the common areas.
In this one-bedroom apartment, creativity is the order of the day: decorative moldings conceal ingenious storage units, such as the washing machine tucked away in the gap of an old load-bearing wall behind a soundproof cupboard.
The fireplaces, witnesses to a bygone era, have been carefully preserved and restored, lending a certain style to this apartment.
