75 m² in Paris: Color Breathes New Life into the Existing Space

The challenge: breathing new life into an apartment that has shown its age, without losing what gave it its charm 75 m² Paris, France 68 000 € Retro-contemporary 3 pièces Martin & Audebert

In Paris, the interior design firm Martin & Audebert has breathed new life into this 75-square-meter apartment designed for a couple. The renovation focuses on revealing rather than replacing, allowing light to flow freely and adapting the spaces to a more open and personal way of living.
The tour begins in the spacious, light-filled living area, where the interior designers started by clearing it out. The stretched fabric is gone, allowing the walls to regain their brightness, while the original mosaic hardwood floor—completely renovated—preserves the memory of the space.

In this stripped-down setting, the living room takes shape with a sense of softness. The duckboard table, custom-designed for the project, adds a graphic touch.

Across from the living room, the kitchen naturally takes center stage and sets the tone for the new interior.

Designed to be the living heart of the apartment, it combines honey-colored oak veneer, stainless steel, and cream-colored tile to create a warm and inviting room.

A green space adds rhythm to the composition.

A functional alcove for the homeowners, who are posing here in front of the reinforced glass frame.

In this more subdued and intentionally secluded room, the storage units centralize everyday activities and free up space in the living area.

In the bedroom, the layout has been redesigned to incorporate a floor-to-ceiling closet.
The pinkish walls frame the entrance to the room and set the stage for a softer atmosphere, brought to life by the floral patterns on the bed.

The preserved utility duct blends into an alcove punctuated by oak shelves.

The pink from the closet facade extends behind the headboard, while the furniture adds a touch of the ’70s to the bedroom.

In the bathroom, a grayish-green tiled base surrounds the shower and the vanity, while the mirrored storage units create a sense of depth.

The bathtub and bidet have been replaced by a more spacious shower.
