The entrance makes sure to highlight the apartment’s assets: wooden joists for character, and a view of the main room’s large linear façade for plenty of light. Plenty of storage space…
… So much so that the shower room can afford the luxury of an antechamber with cupboards! White was deliberately chosen to brighten up this space, which has no natural light.
A 10×10 tiling in immaculate Italian porcelain stoneware is laid in the spirit of a mosaic thanks to its pronounced joints. The custom-made vanity top is topped by a full-width mirror to visually extend the space.
Back in the entrance hall, we appreciate the contrast created by the light oak parquet. It’s hard to resist the call of this wood-veneered arch: what does it have in store for us?
It forms the center of a wooden ensemble, alternating full and empty spaces, and is the pivot of the new layout. This piece of furniture allows you to organize a high-quality entry sequence and then seamlessly articulate new functionalities.
The ensemble then continues to the dining and kitchen area. In addition to storage space, the cupboards conceal electrical appliances, as well as a number of technical elements that we prefer to keep hidden, such as the hot water tank!
The kitchen is linear and uncluttered, with a long, bespoke quartz countertop that folds into a credenza. The quartz was chosen for its clarity and light speckling, giving it a pleasant vibrancy. Brass highlights the whole with great elegance.
The small square kitchen island links the kitchen and dining areas. It has been custom-designed to meet the owner’s dual needs: cooking in a convivial atmosphere, and working from home!
The passage between the living room and bedroom is via a sliding door. This solution makes getting around the apartment more smooth and avoids congestion. When open, it also reveals the apartment’s beautiful depth: a guaranteed feeling of space!
A @ stringfurniture shelf, a Vertigo pendant light by Constance Guisset and produced by @ petitefriture : a few clever decorating choices for a Zen and airy ambience.
The new partition between the bedroom and dressing room is fitted with a fixed glass frame. The aim is to make these rooms visually continuous, and of course to let the sweet rays of sunshine indirectly in.
